SIS' Partner XE Platform now Housed on Expedient's Cloud Computing Network

Strategic Insurance Software (SIS) has partnered with technology provider Expedient Data Centers. The Partner XE insurance agency management system platform, and all associated client data, is now housed on Expedient’s cloud computing network with the latest Storage Area Network (SAN) technology.

Bryan Smith, regional vice president at Expedient said that it is the company’s responsibility to provide clients like SIS with a platform that is always available and is designed to scale as their business needs change.

The dynamic platform provides SIS with an opportunity to expand and grow, as well as have a leading edge on development. Similarly, SIS’ agency experiences improved system accessibility, reliability, and security.

With the help of Expedient’s industry expertise and network of secure SSAE16 compliant data centers, SIS completed a whole-scale cloud infrastructure update of their Partner XE insurance agency management system platform.

The new SAN technology increases capacity as well as eliminates data access bottlenecks. Moreover, it makes data replication possible to any of the Expedient data centers, which results in faster disaster recovery and more redundancy for maximum availability, according to company officials.

Noting that technology is continually changing and so is the business, Alex Deak, CEO at SIS, said that working with Expedient assures “our customers the best combination of technology capability, scalability, reliability, and security.”

Currently, Expedient has eight data centers in five states. The company is expected to add new locations in the near future.

“Our close relationship with Expedient and their industry leading cloud experts allows us to continue improving all aspects of the Partner XE product and customer experience with the assurance that the underlying foundation remains resilient,” said Mensur Sejfovic, director of operations at SIS.

Sejfovic said that with the redundancies Expedient has in place, their around the clock service and the 24/7/365 nature of the cloud, no natural disaster should ever prevent an agency from access to its data.

Earlier this month, Mid-Atlantic Network entered into an agreement with Expedient Data Centers to establish a new presence in their Baltimore Data Center, located in the city's popular Tide Point business complex.
