InMage has unveiled an enhanced release of InMage Scout. The latest release, version 7, offers sophisticated features that are capable of addressing the precise enterprise requirements, all in a single administration interface.
The wide assortments of platforms currently utilized by enterprises can be protected, tracked and recovered using a solitary, user-friendly offering, InMage Scout.
A very crucial functional gap has been removed by Scout 7. The latest version offers recovery capabilities for multi-hypervisors and physical servers via Scout's P2V, V2V and V2P compatibility for failover and failback. The latest release also delivers all-inclusive security for Windows 2012 and Hyper-V 2012, like hypervisor based replication for Hyper-V.
Ben Woo, analyst at Neuralytix said in a statement that, "InMage's new enterprise worthy features with Scout V7 will greatly enhance a customer's capabilities for recovery. The new AIX support follows the successful Continuous Data Protection (CDP) architecture that InMage has developed for other UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms. The ability to leverage a single solution for both backup and replication reduces administration time and overall costs, and can also scale easily and cost-effectively as needed, no matter what types of storage or platforms are added to an IT environment."
InMage Scout is developed using the proper continuous data protection or CDP technology and offers DR security for high availability clustered and very important apps and databases like Oracle, Oracle RAC and DB2. These apps and databases are the basis for SAP (News

Real near Zero RTO is offered by Scout version 7, which is measured at the data center and major multi-tier application levels. IT staff can now extend versatile methods for DR testing with InMage’s sturdy software tools, eliminating interruption to primary servers or stopping replication.
