SAS to Host Workshops in 10 US Cities, Educate Businesses on Turning Data into a Valuable Asset

In the age of big data, businesses are required to handle a huge amount of unstructured data everyday – some are of immense value, some are totally unimportant. For today’s businesses, one of the biggest challenges is how to differentiate the important from the unimportant, how to classify them and put to good use by deciphering their significance.

Business intelligence software is designed to provide companies with valuable business intelligence to expedite their decision-making processes and improve performance. They let organizations manage big data as a valued asset and make full use of this asset to uncover hidden insights and increase their competitive edge.

SAS (News - Alert) is one of the reputable vendors in the business intelligence and analytics space, and the company is set to demonstrate the power of data in developing strong business insights.

In a recent statement, SAS announced that its team of experts will give a live demonstration of the capabilities of its business intelligence and analytics products, and participate in workshops for the businesses based in 10 U.S. cities.

Maximum focus will be given to two of its products – SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Data Management.

While SAS Visual Analytics uniquely combines self-service business intelligence with the industry’s most widely used analytics to let organizations explore all relevant data quickly and easily, SAS Data Management allows organizations to manage big data as a valued asset for simplifying strategic decision making.

Attendees are expected to learn how SAS Visual Analytics can be leveraged to understand complex, massive data sets, and create and share visually compelling visuals.

Attendees will also come to learn how SAS Data Management can help them turn data into a trusted, critical asset that delivers an accurate, consistent view of the enterprise.

With the help of case studies and interactive sessions, the team will educate the businesses on the application of analytics for better results in the future. In a nutshell, the initiative is aimed at equipping business decision makers with valuable knowledge about business analytics, giving them hands-on lessons on how to effectively handle huge, complex and unstructured data to gain greater clarity about their businesses.

The events are targeted at business and IT directors in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Rockville, MD, San Francisco, Los Angeles/Irvine, Dallas and Atlanta.
