Intermedia (News - Alert), a specialist in cloud services and a Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, has released its proprietary Cloud Concierge onboarding tool to serve its channel partners who will be able to fully control the onboarding experience.

The account creation through object creation, data migration and cutover functionalities can be controlled by channel partners. They will be able to migrate their small and medium-sized business customers’ Exchange mailboxes to the cloud.
As a prominent Exchange host, Intermedia has used the Cloud Concierge Onboarding Tool to migrate over 300,000 users since 2010. In case partners cannot use the tool, they are supported by Intermedia’s free 24/7 live support. Also Intermedia’s onboarding experts will help the partners undertake the full migration process.
Officials explained that the onboarding tool provides partners with full control over the entire hosted Exchange setup and migration. In case of migration from in-house systems, third-party systems or IMAP, the tool offers step-by-step instructions for partners covering various aspects of the setup process.
The instructions will cover exporting of objects like GAL or active directory objects; adding or excluding specific objects; fixing bad e-mail addresses or other objects; managing mail flow redirection; migrating data; distributing single sign-on tools to end-users and executing the cutover.
Intermedia’s Office in the Cloud suite offers essential business services such as hosted Exchange, Hosted PBX and Cloud Server. All of these services are managed using Intermedia’s powerful HostPilot control panel.
In 2012, Intermedia announced the unification of the company’s private label program and advisor program into one combined partner program. The Intermedia Partner Program now allows members to choose either the private label or advisor model on a customer-by-customer basis.
