Globe Business First in Asia to Earn MEF CE 2.0 Certification

 Globe Business, a company that provides a range of ICT interconnectivity solutions, recently announced in a statement that it has become the first company in Asia to earn the Metro Ethernet Forum (News - Alert) – Carrier Ethernet (MEF CE) 2.0 certification. As the result of the certification, Globe Business has entered into an elite list of companies which can match enterprise users' application performance needs to MEF (News - Alert) services with specific service-level agreements (SLAs).

Globe Business’ ICT interconnectivity solutions are used by the country's top industries, businesses and commercial enterprises. The solutions are engineered according to their business requirements and enables them continuous access to information. The portfolio of products and services comprise of mobile, wireline, broadband, data connections, Internet, managed services and IT-enabling services as well as cloud computing solutions, which it pioneered in the country. The company's data center and carrier Ethernet services are ISO- and MEF global standards-certified, respectively.

Head of Globe Business, Jesus Romero said that, "Being the first not only in the Philippines but in Asia to receive certification for Carrier Ethernet 2.0 is not only an important achievement for us but it also augurs well for the local ICT industry. Globe Business recently inked a deal with Johnson & Johnson Philippines, Inc. to further its delivery of communications services. Globe Business reinforced the partnership with Johnson & Johnson (Philippines), Inc. (J&J Philippines) to deliver communications solutions to the healthcare company, which covers the latter's consumer sector, medical devices & diagnostics sector (Johnson & Johnson Medical Philippines), pharmaceutical sector (Janssen Pharmaceutica) and its affiliate Global Finance Services in Manila, making the telco company the exclusive mobile service provider for J&J Philippines.
