The new website offers consumers an overview of the performance of ISPs located in the U.S., Mexico, Ireland, U.K., Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Netflix updates the website on a monthly basis to ensure that consumers are provided with the latest information on performance of ISPs within a country for easy comparison with international providers.

- Alert) Fiber with 3.35Mbps offers the highest average Netflix streaming bitrate while Sweden's Ownit offers the highest average Netflix bitrate at 2.99 Mbps. Netflix members in Finland on an average enjoy the highest bitrates, while the slowest connections on an average were recorded in Mexico. ISPs in the Scandinavia countries of Denmark, Sweden, and Finland delivered averages above 2Mbps.
The Netflix ISP Speed Index features data collected from more than 33 million Netflix members collectively viewing one billion hours of TV shows and movies that are streamed from Netflix each month. The listed speeds indicate the average performance of all Netflix streams delivered via a given ISP's network. It is also offers viewers with performance data that users on an ISP network are experiencing.
