21CT Enhances LYNXeon with Faster and More Efficient Graph Search

21CT Inc., a provider of investigative analytics and pattern-detection solutions, has enhanced the graph search capabilities for LYNXeon, making it faster and more efficient. In addition, the company has been awarded with U.S. Patent 8,316,060 for faster and more efficient graph search, which helps to quickly identify and mitigate cyber attacks, fraud and criminal activity.

The solution is designed to rapidly and efficiently perform graph searches on massive data sets. This is helpful for enterprises and government organizations looking for effective and efficient solutions that can turn big data into big insight. Using the newly enhanced LYNXeon graph search, these organizations can connect the dots, analyze trends and patterns and gain the operational insight needed to identify embedded cyber attackers, detect fraud and document criminal behavior.

Robert Williams (News - Alert), chief product officer, 21CT, said, “Machine-based attacks can be caught by machines, but today's advanced human-based attacks, whether cyber or physical, require hunters. Global organizations and governments have teams of analysts and investigators that use data analysis to hunt out and mitigate cyber attacks, fraud, and criminal behavior. These hunters don't care about the marketing buzz of Big Data, they want big insights in order to detect patterns and get to the right answer, faster. The new LYNXeon graph search capability brings data analytics to a new level, efficiently providing visibility into the links that a hunter can use to get answers and doing it in a fraction of the time of legacy or homegrown solutions."

The enhanced features of LYNXeon can be used for cyber security analysis, fraud detection analytics, digital forensics investigations and more.

Recently, 21CT was in news when it announced a twofold increase in data import performance, enabling organizations to import enormous amounts of data from more sources for analysis and visualization quickly.
