Data Centers Canada officials confirmed that its Toronto North Data Center facility has successfully completed the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16) Type 2 audit, a standard set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for service organizations.
Based in Vaughan, Ontario Canada, Data Centers Canada's Toronto North Facility is spread out in a 20,000 square foot area which provides data center colocation services to various enterprises globally including; government, fortune 1000 and numerous technology service providers. The Toronto North Facility offers a robust data center platform that the enables enterprises to place their mission critical or disaster recovery infrastructure in a secure, resilient data center footprint in the Canadian geography.
The SSAE 16 audit has enabled Data Centers Canada to follow a step by step method for disclosing independently assessed information about the design and operation of internal controls related to their services.

The whole process was made possible with the help of an independent consulting firm, Assure Professional, which validated if Data Centers Canada had been successful in managing various controlled environments including; security, operations, management, infrastructure and network operations.
