HP Strengthens Converged Infrastructure with BladeSystem

HP, an IT corporation known for its converged infrastructure for data center modernization, released enhancements to its C-class BladeSystem portfolio. It comes with three different components that include c7000 BladeSystem Platinum enclosure, new ProLiant WS460c Gen 8 Server Blade along with major enhancements to Virtual Connect family of products. This improves efficiency, optimizes power and simplifies management. At the same time, it remains compatible with the earlier generations of Blade System servers with complete interconnections.

It features an Ethernet switch, which is a new S x 1018 containing 40 GB downlinks for every BladeServer. This includes 3-Rank 24 GB Regis. DIMM, that enables a 25-percent speed increase compared to earlier generations. C700 features power and location detection tools for tracking server from a remote location using a central console. Virtual Connect 4.0 came into being as a tool for effective network management. This also enables troubleshooting, simplifies connectivity and boost reliability of networks. The best thing about this platform is that it allows a comprehensive and seamless integration with varied existing networking enterprise environments.

This platform comes with real-time monitoring of network flow with enhanced quality of services. A new ProLiant HP Gen 8 WS460c workstation BladeServer is able to support client-virtualized solutions with 3D high-density graphics and 8 GPUs/blade. WS460c uses four times the number of users for every workstation. As a result, it reduces costs at a staggering 60 percent per user when taken in comparison to the previous generations. This is a commendable performance and increases efficiency markedly while bringing down the costs to a significant degree.

Chuck Smith, VP and GP, HP says adoption of virtual platforms is a daunting task by any standards since organizations lack scalable infrastructure ideal for the growth of businesses everywhere. Additions to BladeSystem HP portfolio provide state of the art flexibilities that remain built-in and develop an appropriate base for seamless accommodation of future technology innovations that are a part of growth and development in the field of IT. HP has placed new milestones in the field of blade systems and this allows customers to prepare correctly current infrastructures for virtualization needs. This in turn opens up new channels for revenue generation for the channel partners, and adds to profits and increased efficiency.

The new HP BladeSystem converged infrastructure accelerates market timing and performs data center modernizations. There is no doubt regarding the fact that this is the best when it comes to Converged Infrastructure as it delivers next-generation technologies in system architecture, which is change-ready. This system is ideal for any kind of workload, ranging from cloud to client and delivers breakthrough economics and intelligence in keeping with its reputation as a top virtualization platform.

HP BladeSystem provides ideal I/O infrastructure for supporting interconnect, modular server, along with modern storage components. This is not only appropriate for the present, but will be also perfect for the future, which is what the HP brand aims to signify.
