Mobile Labs is delivering comprehensive management capabilities for mobile devices in corporate test labs and the apps that require testing with the release of deviceConnect.
This internal device cloud from Mobile Labs allows easy sharing of a set of mobile devices for manual or automated testing of mobile apps by a group of testers that can be located anywhere in the world.
Mobile Labs notes Cap Gemini and Sogeti’s fourth annual World Quality Report according to which 65 % of organizations don’t have the right tools to test mobile applications.
This report also indicates that 52% of organizations do not have access to the required devices. These problems are addressed by Mobile Labs through its Mobile Labs’ Trust tool and deviceConnect.
Mobile Labs’ Trust is an automated functional and regression testing tool for mobile applications that works in conjunction with deviceConnect.
While Mobile Labs’ Trust tool automates functional and regression testing for mobile applications, deviceConnect allows testers access to the right devices at the right time.
DeviceConnect ensures that testers can completely focus on the testing process which helps to speed up the amount of time it takes the apps to go from development to end user deployment.
DeviceConnect is housed in a compact mobile cart and takes up a fraction of the space in a data center that other on-premises solutions occupy. The solution is easy to install and manage and is delivered to the customer configured and ready for use.
“While deviceConnect was built with enterprise testing organizations in mind, the benefits extend to departments outside of QA,” said Mobile Labs president and CEO Don Addington. “There are many departments within large companies that can use deviceConnect to manage mobile devices, including marketing, sales and customer support organizations.”
Mobile Labs provides end-to-end mobile application testing solutions for the enterprise. The company was in news last year when it partnered with Sky I.T. Group, a single source IT solution provider and HP Software Elite Partner.
