JDL Technologies Opens New Office in Tampa, Florida

Fort Lauderdale-based JDL Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Communications Systems (News - Alert), has established a successful presence in Florida’s information technology space. But that’s not deterring the company from further expanding its presence across the state.

Now with a tighter focus on Central Florida, the company has set up a new office in Tampa. The company hopes to improve it’s dealings with Central Florida clients through its new facility.

JDL Technologies is an approved Information Technology vendor for two of Florida's three federally-funded Regional Extension Centers. The company is engaged in designing, deploying and managing information technology solutions for some of the state’s most respectable organizations.

JDL’s wide-ranging IT solutions include networking, virtualization and cloud services such as data backup and business continuity, security, e-mail, telephony and more.

Chuck Szymczak, sales manager for JDL Technologies in Central Florida, has been given the additional responsibility of managing this new office, located at 1228 East Seventh Avenue in Tampa. With over two decades of IT experience, Szymczak was picked up by the company as the most competent person for forging new partnership with industry leading companies as well as the new ventures.

Through his career in IT, Szymczak has been associated with such big-ticket companies such as Cisco, Tech Data (News - Alert), and other software and technology-based firms.

“Chuck has exceptional experience in information technology solutions selling, and we're delighted to welcome him to the JDL Technologies team. With solid channel and distribution experience, he'll be able to skillfully optimize our partnerships with industry leaders such as Cisco, Citrix, EMC, HP and VMWare as well as younger technology innovators like Aerohive, Bradford Networks (News - Alert), Meru and Nutanix,” said sales director for JDL Technologies, Steve Latos.

In October last year, Communications Systems, JDL’s parent company, announced JDL’s selection as one of the partners for a project with the Miami-Dade County Public School District, the fourth-largest public school district in the United States.
