Telcordia (News - Alert) India, a global provider of mobile, broadband and enterprise communications software and services, announced that its Telcordia Converged Revenue Management solution won the Aegis Graham Bell 2011 Award in the Innovation in Telecom OSS/BSS category.
This is for the second consecutive year that the company is receiving the Aegis Graham Bell 2011 Award. The award recognizes Telcordia's ability to understand challenges, and respond and deliver the best solution that will assist operator customers to achieve their goals.
Telcordia received this award for its work with the region's communication service providers, enabling them to accelerate new customer and revenue growth in a highly competitive market.

The Telcordia Converged Revenue Management solution is designed to assist CSP's (News
- Alert) to manage multiple functions including order management, customer care, service delivery, and billing.
Leveraging the unified solution, CSPs can bring down costs and provide innovative service offerings to their customers. The solution is based on the Telcordia Real-Time Charging product, which has been deployed with leading CSPs across India.
Indian telcos such as Aircel (News - Alert), Idea Cellular, Tata Indicom, Tata Docomo and Uninor have deployed Telcordia’s unified solution. Several of Telcordia's customers in the region have cited considerable growth in subscribers and revenue after deploying the product.
Recently, Telcordia announced that Technology Marketing Corporation named Telcordia Service Director solution as a recipient of the 2011 NGN Leadership Award presented by NGN Magazine. This is the second consecutive year that Service Director has received this award.
