Connection Cloud and Tableau Software Join Forces to Provide Easy and Fast Access to SaaS Data

The developer and marketer of the Connection Cloud, Elastic Intelligence, and the provider of rapid-fire business intelligence software, Tableau Software, are partnering to bring Tableau users the industry's easiest and fastest access to SaaS (News - Alert) data.

"It's a best-of-both-worlds partnership. Tableau has made its mark in fast data analytics and we hear many of our customers want to access SaaS data directly, rather than having to stage or move it into a data warehouse first,” said Dan Jewett, vice president of product management at Tableau Software.

In order to fulfill its customer promise of fast visualization, he added, the Connection Cloud answers this need by accessing data in the cloud directly, where it resides.

Ajay Singh, CEO at Elastic Intelligence, stated that last month at the Tableau Customer Conference that it was thrilled at the number of users who positively looked forward to the Connection Cloud's data connection services. Customers were ready to try it immediately since they saw how easy it was to access their SaaS data and pull it into their Tableau application.

The Connection Cloud eliminates the hindrances of SaaS users needing to access their data for reporting and analysis. For an economical, unlimited monthly subscription, Tableau users can access all of their SaaS data in minutes, from where it resides, in real time, thanks to the Connection Cloud.

It is a compelling alternative to implementing data integration tools and building a data warehouse that take months, and have budgets that easily run into six figures.

The first and only real-time SQL-based Platform-as-a-Service for connecting to SaaS data for reporting, business intelligence (BI) and application development, Connection Cloud is developed and marketed by Elastic Intelligence. In 2011, Tableau Software was ranked by Gartner (News - Alert) and IDC as the world's fastest growing business intelligence company. It helps people see and understand data.
