AWS Marketplace is an online store that makes it simpler for users to find, buy, and use software and services that run in the AWS Cloud. People can utilize AWS Marketplace’s 1-Click installation to rapidly launch pre-configured software on Amazon EC2 instances.
Users can now discover and install software products that run on Windows Server to the AWS Cloud. This includes well-known business intelligence, database, and hosting solutions. Customers pay only for what they use and can scale their software up or down as required, as it is with all products in the AWS Marketplace.
“Offering customers choice for their cloud infrastructure and enabling open development is a priority for us, which is why we’re excited to provide our Toad solution for on-demand use across managed databases,” said Michael Sotnick, VP of Worldwide Channels and Alliances for Quest Software (now part of Dell (News - Alert)). “We deliver value to the AWS ecosystem today through our freeware edition that enables more than two million developers to easily leverage Toad for Oracle (News - Alert), Toad for SQL Server and Toad for MySQL within the AWS cloud.”
Recently, the company expanded free support for all AWS customers, along with a reduction in prices on premium support plans and various new features to assist users with interacting and improving their use of AWS. This includes chat functionality and proactive alerts when chances to save money present themselves.
