Tuxera Partners with Power 7

To offer its complete mobile Wi-Fi storage product line with seamless interoperability across Windows, Android (News - Alert) and Mac devices, Tuxera has entered into a partnership with Power 7 Technology Co. Ltd.

Power 7 Technology Corporation creates and produces complete external storage and peripheral solutions for Windows, Macintosh and other OS platforms. Power 7 provides OEM/ODM products that consists of NAS, USB 3.0/2.0, Multimedia players, eSATA, Firewire, Power-related products and RFID.

The company maintains facilities in the United States, China and Taiwan with over 1,000 employees worldwide.

The partnership between the two companies offer multi-platform interoperability, allowing users to access and stream their music, videos, photos and data. They can do this from Windows/Mac/Android/Linux devices and from all SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards, as well as USB external storages.

Power 7's white label mobile Wi-Fi storage products cater to the customer requirements in terms of portability, support for the latest SDXC cards and USB 3.0 standard using Tuxera's file systems.

Tuxera solutions also improve battery life and offer overall device responsiveness.

Recently, Alpine Electronics picked up Tuxera file systems to provide seamless connectivity between SD/SDXC and USB storages, and the car infotainment system. Tuxera is now shipping in Alpine- manufactured BMW iDrive systems. For the in-vehicle infotainment system, the company’s technology connects navigation and media storages.

With the strictest quality needs, Tuxera's solutions are especially suited for high-capacity storages. Alpine Electronics is an automotive electronics manufacturer.
