Ipswitch (News - Alert) File Transfer, a company that provides solutions that move, govern and secure business information between employees, business partners and customers, recently announced that its MOVEit Cloud and MOVEit Ad Hoc Transfer solutions are now available.
The Ad Hoc Transfer module gives end-users a secure way to quickly send encrypted files and secure messages to other people using their browser or Outlook. Users can send files to anyone in the world with an e-mail address quickly, easily and securely. Available as an option for MOVEit DMZ or MOVEit Cloud, the Ad Hoc Transfer module enables organizations to manage person-to-person file transfer interactions and proactively apply email encryption, attachment offloading, secure messaging, access control and authentication, data loss prevention and content management policies. It also provides reactive management technologies to help companies fully audit and report on all of these transactions.
MOVEit Cloud delivers the first enterprise-class managed file transfer solution in the cloud. It’s intuitive and easy to use while providing IT visibility and control over the files and information exchanged between systems and people. Also, MOVEit Cloud provides an easy way to share and transfer files and for IT to manage and automate the internal and external exchange of files. MOVEit Cloud is available for person-to-person file sharing and secure exchange of encrypted messages (MOVEit Ad Hoc Transfer) or for system-system and group file sharing and secure exchange of encrypted messaged (MOVEit File Transfer).
“Businesses are sharing more confidential and sensitive information electronically than ever before, and IT is looking for trusted, secure, and convenient enterprise-class solutions to help make that possible,” said Rich Kennelly, president of Ipswitch’s File Transfer Division, in a statement. “MOVEit Cloud and MOVEit Ad Hoc Transfer directly address these needs. Ipswitch has always been at the forefront of providing trusted IT solutions for File Transfer. With these recent announcements, Ipswitch shows that leadership again, providing IT with the broadest enterprise-class deployment options for Managed File Transfer. They can now choose Managed File Transfer options in the cloud, on-premise, or a hybrid deployment, depending on their business and data policies.”
