*astTECS makes its Footprint in South Africa, Teams Up with Allgent Communications

*astTECS, a telecom centric enterprise headquartered in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, has announced that it is opening up its operations in South Africa and to take this project further, the company has teamed up with Johannesburg-based Allgent Communications (News - Alert) (Pty) Ltd.

This new partnership will allow *astTECS to offer its complete product line and a comprehensive training program on Asterisk (News - Alert) solutions to Asterisk users, customers and organizations in South Africa.

Speaking about the expansion, Levis Wilson, COO, *astTECS said that it is increasingly seeing a large demand for Asterisk-based open source telephony solution coming in from emerging markets like South Africa and Partnering with Allgent Communications is an important part of their strategy as they plan to serve their customers and partners throughout the South African region.
