IKANOW has partnered with Amazon to add its Infinit.e platform to Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) (AWS). By doing this, IKANOW makes it easier for companies to gather, process and analyze data sources.
Offering customers the business agility needed for today's complex intelligence environment, this native EC2 cloud-based platform has been created from the ground up using open source technologies and architected for plug-and-play with additional data sources, extraction engines and visualization widgets.
While Amazon EC2 simplifies the deployment and management, Infinit.e is preconfigured with an initial data set.
Allowing users to run virtually everything in the cloud – from enterprise applications and big data projects to social games and mobile apps – AWS provides a complete set of infrastructure and application services. One of the important advantages of cloud computing is the opportunity to replace up-front capital infrastructure expenses with low variable costs that scale with customers’ business.

Recently, the company partnered with Carahsoft Technology to bring IKANOW's Infinit.e knowledge discovery and data platform to the U.S. public sector market. Carahsoft will offer proactive sales and marketing activities to educate the market about IKANOW's service offerings and generate demand for Infinit.e.
