Provider of temperature monitoring and asset tracking solutions, American Thermal Instruments (ATI) has launched ATI DataNow, which reportedly features cloud computing capabilities that provide immediate worldwide access to LOG-IC temperature monitoring data.
The LOG-IC temperature monitoring data, according to company officials, provides complete and cost-effective coverage of temperature monitoring. The new ATI DataNow service offers immediate access to vital data uploaded from the cold chain.
It also delivers secure 24/7 service, insightful charts and reports, and instant access by any authorized user.
This latest launch follows a six-month pilot program. Company officials said that during the pilot-program time, businesses from multiple industries monitored cold chain temperatures with NFC-enabled smartphones running the LOG-IC Mobile App.
The advantages of scanning LOG-IC data loggers using smartphones were confirmed.
The download of the app to the smartphone enabled users to review and communicate real-time temperature monitoring data. Company officials said that this was the first such use of an app in the cold chain industry to provide fully functional end-to-end temperature monitoring in real time.
Matty Toomb, vice president of sales and marketing at ATI, said the faster access to temperature data, along with potential savings in time and equipment, attracted companies to the pilot program.
“Once they realized these advantages, what really excited them was the value of accessing their data anywhere, which drove our development of ATI DataNow with its extremely accessible user interface,” Toomb said.
Logging onto ATI DataNow, authorized users see a table of their most recent scans, and temperature excursions are clearly indicated by an excursion icon in the status column. Also, excursion alerts are shown at the top of the page, informing about new excursions since the last login.
Users can click on this link to immediately display excursion details.
Moreover, the ATI DataNow overview page is similar to a dashboard, having key criteria listed for each LOG-IC tag (News - Alert) – a tag ID, scan location, start date, latest scan and status. Any of the criteria can be sorted and all entries are searchable and detailed reports on each tag can be accessed by simply clicking on the tag ID.
ATI DataNow is accessible across a variety of platforms, according to company officials.
