AV-Comparatives recently announced that it has awarded maximum detection preciseness rating to TrustGo Mobile, Inc.’s Antivirus & Mobile Security app for Android.

According to the recent Mobile Security Review, carried out by AV-Comparatives on August 14, 2012, the TrustGo Antivirus & Mobile Security app was able to identify at least 98 percent of malware out of a test sample consisting of 18,021 malicious apps, including 75 core families.

"AV-Comparatives' test results are a great validation of the hard work and dedication of our team in the TrustGo Security Labs,” said Xuyang Li, CEO at TrustGo. “Our researchers and engineers have done so much to put TrustGo at the forefront of the security industry. We are grateful to the team at AV-Comparatives for putting so much time and effort into their report."

TrustGo was also scrutinized by AV-Comparatives for its affect on battery drain, and was declared the winner among the tested apps. According to the report, TrustGo not only incorporates innovative features, but offers the finest quality product along with remarkable website design.

"TrustGo Antivirus & Mobile Security is the only product to offer a search for trustworthy apps only. It should be considered by anyone who has security concerns with Google (News - Alert) Play," said the authors of the report.
