Autoscript Releases Advanced Teleprompter Features

Autoscript, a part of Vitec Videocom and market leading manufacturer and provider of autocues and teleprompters, recently announced that it will be launching two new accessories for its prompters. These accessories will further improve prompter abilities as well as provide a more user-friendly deskpad control panel to end users. Both products will be available for purchase by the end of September.

Version 3 of Autoscript’s RAT (Receive and Transmit) device will make wireless connectivity hassle-free. The newest version of RAT boasts exciting new features, including a new RF module and a power saving option that enables a 9v battery to last up to three months.  The enclosure has also been redesigned and is said to be easier and more comfortable for the presenter to hold.

The HC/1 five button desk pad control panel will offer rotary speed control for +WinPlus+ Studio & News. It also includes a page/bookmark/snapshot next or previous, a back to top of script function, and a blank screen and programmable function button. It is Control Net enabled and is suitable for use on location or in a studio. Autoscript has redesigned the desk pad, employing a Hall effect sensor for greater longevity and better prompt control.
