AIS Introduces Industrial Panel PCs for Brewery Operations

American Industrial Systems Inc. (AIS), a leading global designer and manufacturer of specialty industrial panel PC and industrial display solutions, has revealed the introduction of Operator Touch Panel Computers for the brewery industry.

AIS’ specialty industrial panel PC and industrial display solutions are to be used  in the building automation, chemical and petrochemical, food and beveage, oil and gas, packaging, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, solar power, utilities, water and waste water, and wind Power markets.

In a statement, AIS explained that its operator touch panel computer had been designed to provide visualization, process control, overall equipment effectivenes and clean-in-place (CIP) solutions. The solution can additionally help reduce costs through improved equipment performance, increased production efficiency and quality across the brewery operations.

AIS touch panel computers are industrial monitors with an integrated industrial-grade PC. The panel computers can be operated as stand-alone and/or network solutions for combined plant control and visualization. The touch panel computers can also work through standard interfaces including Ethernet network, USB and serial connection.

The system operates independently without external processing power and can, via serial interface, communicate directly to PLC systems.
