Bomgar (News - Alert) recently announced that CoSentry will deploy its remote support solution in order to drive tech support and performance for its customers and employees. CoSentry (News - Alert) , a provider of data center, cloud computing and managed technical services, provides its customers with a wide range of technical services such as collocation, virtual server and storage platforms, as well as high-capacity internet and robust technical help desk services for businesses.
In a release, Bob Goding, VP service desk operations at CoSentry, said that, “A combination of features set Bomgar apart from the rest in the playing field. Ease of use, setup, and capability to host internally, security and flexibility were all key drivers in our decision to purchase Bomgar. We currently provide both hardware and software support for a multitude of devices including PCs, Macs, laptops, servers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, smartphones and tablets. Since we are providing support services to both internal and external customers, it is important to have a solution that can provide reliable support across a wide variety of systems.”
CoSentry was on the lookout for a new remote support solution based on its need for a consolidated solution which could help enhance the features of its existing tool that could enable it to accelerate the issue resolution time.
Furthermore, both CoSentry and its customer were increasingly in need of advanced security and compliance. Another consideration was the capability of the selected remote support solution in addressing the necessary security standards. Upon evaluation, CoSentry found that each of these requirements was satisfactorily addressed by Bomgar's remote support solution.
Bomgar has enabled CoSentry to securely support nearly all systems and devices from a single consolidated solution.
