StarHub Teams with Arbor Networks' Cloud Signaling Coalition to Prevent DDoS Attacks

StarHub, Singapore’s fully-integrated-info-communication company, has joined Arbor Networks’ Cloud Signaling Coalition (CSC (News - Alert)), which works to prevent and stop distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks.

The Cloud Signaling Coalition is a cutting-edge partnership among enterprises, data center operators and service providers that strives to maintain availability of network frameworks and speed time-to-mitigation for DDoS attacks. Other companies joining the coalition include Vocus Communications, Neustar, NextGen (News - Alert), Allstream, and Gen-i.

StarHub’s services include a wide array of information, entertainment and communication services that operate on its own multiple networks.  Due to this multinetwork framework, StarHub has become particularly interested in protecting traffic flow and network availability to protect the businesses of its customers. By joining CSC, StarHub will be able to better protect customers while simultaneously offering managed security services.
