Heartland Industries Selects TrueContext's ProntoForms

TrueContext Mobile Solutions Corporation has successfully completed an enterprise retail case study on Heartland Industries. The study reveals the use of ProntoForms from TrueContext Mobile Solutions by Heartland Industries for converting its data collection workflow remotely.

A mobile application, inclusive of signature/photo/barcode captures and geo/time stamps, online website and back office connectivity, comprise ProntoForms, providing a packaged yet made-to-order smartphone and tablet mobile offering. 

ProntoForms, which can be incorporated with any back office system in a simplified manner, is currently utilized by a minimum of 1,800 businesses. Employees away on the field are offered instantaneous dispatching, paperless gathering and communication capabilities with ProntoForms.

“The Heartland Industries deployment of ProntoForms was planned as a two-phase rollout. The first phase was a successful 25-user test,” said Andrew Elias, IT Manager at Heartland Industries. “Subsequently, using the ProntoForms API, we were able to integrate the App with our SQL server. The final phase will be to deploy the tools to an additional 75 users in the field. ProntoForms has proven to be a great productivity tool for our field service team."

Heartland Industries, located in Michigan, was established in 1975. The organization manufactures wood storage sheds, swing sets, gazebos and pergolas, supplied to more than 1,700 Lowes retail stores across the country. Store display model audits need to be carried out by field workers at Heartland Industries.

They also assist the store executives in gaining a complete understanding of the products.

Heartland Industries aims to utilize ProntoForms for enhancing its reporting and service levels within the organization. The organization also plans to utilize ProntoForms at some of its sister organizations.
