TP-Link Releases New N600 Router and USB Adapter for Faster, More Secure Connections

It seems that the terms “school” and “technology” are becoming synonymous with each other as the 21st century rolls on. Schools are always looking to figure out how to keep students engaged and school districts seem to be placing more of a premium on finding a way to incorporate the latest technology into curriculum each year. There is certainly no shortage of interest in technology from students, whether talking about using the latest social networking sites or simply using the best hardware they can get their hands on.

Tech producer TP-Link has put out another stable of products this year that should help students, parents and teachers alike stay ahead of the game when it comes to having the best equipment. The flagship of this year’s group is the new N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router. Along with the N600 Dual Band USB Adapter, TP-Link is looking to make a splash among the back to school crowd. Pair these two devices and people are able to access a network at higher than average speeds and with very few network interruptions.

The N600 Router is retailing for around $70 per unit and actually combines the functions of two wireless routers into one package that can broadcast at 2.4 GHz and receive at 5GHz at the same time at speeds up to 300Mbps. This router makes it that much easier for the user to send e-mail while downloading or streaming video or music without those always annoying interruptions due to buffering. This particular router is also extra secure, despite the fact that people can set up the security with just one button.

The USB adapter is built to make sure that a student’s laptop is operating at speeds faster than normal, as it can maintain connections of around 5GHz with speeds of up to 450 Mbps. This particular adapter is also incredibly secure and easy to set up, even for people who are not used to using a USB adapter like this device. Both of these devices look to continue to make TP-Link one of the go-to companies when it comes to wireless and wired Internet connections that impress with their speed and dependability.
