Gale Automation Adapter Improves Provisioning, Management for F5 Solutions

Gale Technologies (News - Alert) recently announced the introduction of the GaleForce automation adapter, developed to improve both provisioning and management for F5 solutions.

The company, which recently joined F5 Networks’ (News - Alert) Technology Alliance Program (TAP), will now have access to F5 technology solutions and resources which will enable it collaborate on and develop solutions that address client requirements.

“Agility of application infrastructure deployments is a rapidly growing need in enterprises,” said Garima Thockchom, vice president marketing at Gale Technologies. “This means automating repetitive tasks as well as building private or hybrid clouds for self-service fulfilment of application services. We are pleased to announce a technology alliance with F5 and the introduction of the GaleForce Automation Adapter for F5’s BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager. Deploying Gale Technologies and F5 products together further accelerates application delivery by automating the end-to-end physical and virtual infrastructure needed to power the service.”

By automating repetitive and manual steps during the provisioning of application services, the GaleForce software and automation adapter for the F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) effectively enhances service delivery.

Benefits of the GaleForce Automation Adapter for the F5 BIG-IP LTM include improved agility in application deployment via automation of repetitive and complex steps; enhanced capacity management with provision to add more capacity within a functioning application service in a predictable manner; and introduction of single-click and self-service provisioning of pre-designed and published templates to improve service.
