ForeScout Technologies Joins RSA Certified Partner Program

ForeScout Technologies Inc., a supplier of automated security control solutions for Global 2000 enterprises and government organizations, recently announced it is newest member of Secured by RSA (News - Alert) Certified Partner Program.

RSA, the Security Division of EMC, declared ForeScout CounterACT solutions interoperable with the RSA enVision platform as well.

RSA enVision platform is a centralized log-management service that enables organizations to simplify compliance programs and optimize security-incident management.

RSA enVision was built from the ground up for in-depth log collection, archiving and analysis of log data. The solution can be used to perform forensic analysis on massive archives for incident investigation and remediation.

ForeScout CounterACT lets employees and guests remain productive on the network, while protecting critical network resources and sensitive data. Based on third-generation network access control (NAC) technologies, ForeScout CounterACT is easy to install, requiring no software, agents, hardware upgrades or reconfigurations.

The ForeScout CounterACT also helps scale across the globally distributed enterprise with management accomplished from a single console.

This agentless solution ensures deployment flexibility, reduces implementation effort and leaves the operating environment undisturbed.

"Although many SIEM deployments have been funded to address regulatory compliance reporting requirements, the rise in successful targeted attacks has caused a growing number of organizations to use SIEM for threat management to improve security monitoring and early breach detection," according to a recent Gartner (News - Alert) report. "There is a danger of SIEM products (which are already complex) becoming too complex as vendors extend capabilities. Vendors able to provide deployment simplicity as they add function will be the most successful in the market."

Recently, ForeScout Technologies announced that SOKA-BAU, a German organization providing benefits, compensation and pension insurance services to over 70,000 domestic and foreign construction companies, has selected ForeScout's automated security control platform to achieve full visibility and control of mobile and guest devices connecting to its corporate network.
