Lyatiss Helps Users Optimize Cloud Networking

Lyatiss is a cloud network software company that helps cloud users optimize cloud networking. The company started two years ago in France and has expanded into an international networking initiative. It specializes in cluster networking and network optimization, seeking to liberate the cloud. The company was the brainchild of four PhD students and recently relocated to the United States this spring and has since raised Series A money.

The cloud networking company has pilots in the Europe and United States, including a confidential agreement in cloud networking, a big player in the space. Lyatiss believes that the U.S. market is more mature, and the company made the move to the States to immerse itself in the ecosystem over here, to work with the people in the industry, especially those in Silicon Valley who have experience with the cloud and know its advantages.

Lyatiss sees difficulty with networking in the cloud, when matters are elevated to the cloud stage, and is an infrastructure-as-a-service provider seeking a way to simplify the life of cloud users and cloud providers. For the users, the Lyatiss solutions can detect bottlenecks, remove them using automation and mediation, recommendations and reconfiguration.

For the provider, Lyatiss enables them to expose network services, the logic network, bandwidth, switches, etc. with network services, boxes, load balancers, firewalls and more. The company orchestrates elements to provide to user a network or resources and applications that are needed in real time.

The solutions are continuously monitoring and adjusting provisions so there isn’t too much or too little feedback. This provides visibility to providers so they can have more SLAs, resulting in a better cloud from a long term perspective. The company has made the big jump from Europe to the US, and is now looking to make the bigger jump to success, and it seems well poised to do so.
