TomTom Software Alliance Program Makes its Debut

TomTom (News - Alert) Business Solutions has unveiled its new TomTom Software Alliance Program, which is primary a software integration, marketing and sales program.

The TomTom Software Alliance Program appeals to the logistics industry and seeks to enhance commercial fleets by incorporating core TomTom fleet management technology with their software.

TomTom enjoys a good business relationship with industry software providers ranging from office automation, CRM, ERP and Field Service Automation sectors, as well as dedicated industry software for towing, service and transportation fleets.

TomTom’s Software Alliance Program has been designed to provide seamless access to TomTom Business Solutions’ comprehensive set of APIs, which helps develop integrated “Over-the-Road” vehicle and driver management capabilities.

Utilizing the APIs in conjunction with Tom Tom map data, IQ routes and HD traffic, one can easily deploy a host of solutions, including quickest ETA vehicle assignment, real-time ETA calculations, two-way communications for dispatching and work-order flow, integrated turn-by-turn navigation, real-time GPS tracking and a number of driver safety features.
