[x+1] Adds Origin Creative Decision-making Feature to its Origin Enterprise Data Management Platform

The new feature added to the Origin enterprise data management platform by [x+1] drives real-time message relevance through direct publisher buys. [x+1] is a provider of the leading enterprise data management platform (DMP). The newly added feature to Origin helps reduce impression and improve performance. With the enhanced feature, now Origin can push real-time targeting decisions into the ad server, so that more relevant messages can be delivered to every impression across an entire online media plan.

As [x+1] Origin is the only Enterprise DMP that has centralized decision logic through its Predictive Optimization Engine (POE(TM)), marketers can improve results drastically. [x+1] Origin avoids wasted impressions, creates more relevant messages, and manages its media plans more efficiently. Using Origin will allow online marketing and media strategists to leverage the [x+1] decisioning layer across all audiences and online media in real time. At the same time, direct-purchased media inventory can obtain the benefits of real-time targeting for every impression.

In a press release, Mark Kopera, director of Product Management for [x+1], said, “With more and more accountability for performance and efficiency, marketers cannot afford to throw away opportunities for cross-sell and upsell, while wasting impressions and precious media dollars. That's why Creative Decisioning in Origin is such a timely and valuable capability, reducing waste and driving incremental campaign gains as real-time relevance is delivered every time.”

Recently, CPFL Energia has picked the eMeter EnergyIP meter data management platform. EnergyIP will be integrated with two advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) systems using eMeter AMI Adapter technology, as well as the core enterprise systems for CPFL's operating companies. During the project IBM (News - Alert) will serve as the EnergyIP system integrator, providing consultation in governance, process design and best practices. IBM will also manage the planning, installation and configuration of the solution, as well as testing, go-live support and initial assisted operation.

In another news, Pitney Bowes Software announced the latest release of its flagship Data Management Platform, Spectrum (News - Alert) that incorporates master data management capabilities with a future-proof approach that assists organizations build, extend, understand and leverage complex relationships and hierarchies within and across organizational boundaries and into the realm of social networks and big data.
