Arkadin and Adobe Enter Into Global Reseller Distribution Agreement

Arkadin (News - Alert) recently stated that it has signed a global reseller distribution agreement with Adobe (News - Alert) Systems Incorporated, a global leader in digital marketing and digital media solutions. The agreement further expands the strategic relationship between both companies. Under the terms of the new service agreement, Arkadin will now sell the Adobe Connect enterprise offering.

In a release, Arun Anantharaman, vice president and general manager of Adobe, said, "We are excited to add Arkadin to the Adobe Connect reseller community. Arkadin provides unique expertise in delivering integrated audio, video, and Web conferencing services with local-language teams in 29 countries. This will help customers quickly and cost-effectively deploy global collaboration, e-learning, and webinar solutions based on Adobe Connect."

Adobe Connect has been designed as an advanced Web conferencing solution supporting functions and tasks such as Web meetings, eLearning, and webinars. The solution additonally provides complete support to mission critical Web conferencing solutions regardless of the device type.  Current customers include leading organizations and corporations, as well as the U.S. Department of Defense among others who are leveraging the solution to optimize their productivity.

The Adobe Connect solution enables users to leverage their smartphones, tablets, and desktops to manage ad-hoc meetings, webinars, or virtual classrooms. When IT organizations use Adobe Connect in a private or public cloud, they benefit from low upfront investment on a highly scalable solution capable of providing increased security and control.

Arkadin’s audio conferencing suite of solutions will now include the Adobe Connect eLearning and webinar modules. The hybrid audio integration will ensure smooth audio and Web conferencing and provide users with the flexibility for connecting conferences with VOIP or standard telephony.
