Tradeindia.com, one of India's contenders in the B2B (business-to-business) market place, has launched free compliance management software for small and medium enterprise (SME) exporters and manufactures.

The software is expected to help SMEs in managing their day-to-day business tasks while meeting regulatory compliance requirements on time.

Officials with Tradeindia.com said that the application will provide users the facility of creating alerts for any task that can affect their business or even personal alerts like passport expiry, house tax payments, etc.

Company officials said that compliance management software provides alertness in compliance management and a platform for SMEs to streamline their activities. It will also help improve productivity and provide clear visibility of compliance life-cycle. "For instance, if an SME has multiple factory licenses which needs to be renewed on yearly or bi-yearly basis during different months, then they may find it difficult to remember each and every date of renewal along with managing its day-to-day tasks,” said said Bikky Khosla, founder and CEO, Tradeindia.com, in a statement.

Khosla said that similarly rent agreements or business contracts may demand their attention at relevant time. At times, the cost of not attending to such events in time is high and leads to cascading losses, he said.

According to company officials, the Web-based compliance management software provides a cost-effective compliance solution for users by providing a single platform for rules management, policy management, and compliance monitoring to support all their day-to-day business activities.

Via this application in "My Tradeindia", users can create alerts for various time-bound events. One or more alerts can be categorized into specific groups, whose names are to be decided by them. Users will be reminded of the task(s) via SMS or e-mail on the decided date.
