Infinitely Virtual Unveils New McAfee Anti-Spam Pricing

Infinitely Virtual has announced a new pricing system that will appeal to companies and organizations in these tough economic times. Infinitely Virtual is known in the market for deploying affordable virtual server technology through terminal servers, SharePoint servers and SQL servers - all based on Virtual Dedicated Servers. With the new pricing system, clients will get access to complete benefits of premium McAfee anti-spam protection for 30 percent less.

This is not the only pricing cut announced by the company, as they also revealed a similar 30 percent price reduction on e-mail archiving options. With the new discounted price, clients of Infinitely Virtual's Dedicated Exchange Hosting services can either opt for the Basic or Premium bundled, anti-spam package. With the new pricing system, the rate for the Basic plan remains unaffected, and the Advanced plan gets automatically upgraded to Premium, while the bundled Advanced tier gets eliminated.

The Premium structure combines McAfee (News - Alert) SaaS Email Protection and Continuity that shields against e-mail network outages and guarantees inbound and outbound e-mail protection without interruption. Another advantage is that employees, customers, partners and suppliers stay connected 24x7 and if a customer's e-mail server becomes inaccessible, the cloud-based, secure, Web interface acts as a backup and can be used for communication.

The outbound filtering on the other hand enables businesses to screen outgoing e-mail to protect their clients against malware, and loss of sensitive information and potential legal liability. This is done by using the McAfee SaaS (News - Alert) E-mail Protection and Continuity, which checks outbound e-mail to identify and block viruses, worms and other malicious code. It also automatically implements e-mail policies, detects proprietary information and unsuitable content in both the body of all outbound e-mail and in attached files.

"We're always looking for ways to enhance customer service, while offering competitive, affordable pricing that fits within the budgets of our small to mid-sized customers," said Adam Stern, founder and CEO, Infinitely Virtual. "The timing was right to make strategic pricing adjustments in our hosted anti-spam services, and make it possible for more customers to realize the benefits of the Premium level."
