cPacket Networks to Discuss Pervasive Network Intelligence

cPacket (News - Alert) Networks stated that in order to have more visibility and real-time situational awareness of the ‘clouded data center’ it is essential that users employ ‘Pervasive Network Intelligence’. The company will be discussing this factor at an ongoing networking industry technology event.

cPacket explained that modern day datacenters and cloud computing infrastructure imply more distributed computing environments, faster networks, and higher traffic volume. Operations teams have to maintain network efficiency, handle network problems, application issues and performance bottlenecks so that business activities run smoothly. The company stresses that these teams do not possess the necessary monitoring options to carry out the aforementioned tasks.

Datacenters are in danger of being overwhelmed with irrelevant data because of the lack of optimal monitoring and troubleshooting techniques which will also result in huge costs incurred in terms of time, resources and degraded user experience.

cPacket asserted that its own expanded cVu product line transforms the traffic monitoring switch market by combining aggregation and replication with the most advanced real time L2-L7 packet filtering, on-the-fly performance visibility, and built-in flow load balancing. By leveraging its solutions, data centers, service providers, financial institutions, and telecommunication network operators can ensure optimal performance and uptime of high speed 10-Gigabit networks.

The company’s solutions provide ‘pervasive network intelligence’ for advanced visibility and monitoring of data center networks and applications traffic. Its solutions are based on its own hardware-software architecture and its radical algorithmic fabric on a chip to deliver complete inspection of every bit, in every packet and every flow, at deterministic performance under any traffic conditions.

cPacket CTO, Rony Kay will be speaking at the ‘Sharkfest 12’ and will address how the vision of pervasive network intelligence and visibility in the “clouded datacenter” relates to the popular Wireshark tool, which is widely used for drilling down into protocols and analyzing specific application issues.
