MuleSoft announced a new platform that assists organizations with timely connectivity across cloud-based and on-premises applications. Mule iOn is an integration platform connecting SaaS (News

At the center of the Mule iOn, cloud providers have access to hundreds of on-premises and cloud-based applications previously unattainable.
The Mule iON SaaS Edition is designed specifically for SaaS solutions. These features include graphical data mapping, cloud connector toolkit, self-service portals, SaaS Operators Center, support for process orchestration and integration app and connectors gallery.
It offers new tools that simplify the integration, as well as MuleSoft’s Anypoint for API connectivity for developers to write custom code for point-to-point integrations. Developers can even use Anypoint to embed third-party applications for easy integration as well.
Companies find that the new ecosystem provides a quick solution to a sometimes complex integration. Three major partnerships are the result of the new integration. This includes SAP (News

"MuleSoft is the only integration platform that allows us to fully embed integration as a part of our solution and has given our customers the option to run integrations behind their firewall, using Mule ESB, or from the cloud, using Mule iON," said Brett Taylor, CEO at Go2Group. "In addition with the latest cloud platform release we can now proactively manage our customer environments receiving alerts if and when an issue arises, allowing Go2Group to provide differentiated value through a superior customer experience."
Interested parties can view upcoming webcasts to learn the basics of the new Mule iOn platform at MuleSoft’s official website. Subjects include an overview of Zia Enterprise’s Mobility Solutions and AvaTax for Quickbooks online.
