Luso Electronics Distribution, a company that manufactures and installs microwave communications systems, and represents manufacturers of power transmission components and electronic power supplies, recently unveiled wireless power transmitter and receiver coil modules from Elec & Eltek, a manufacturer of magnetic components.
Elec & Eltek’s wireless power transmitter and receiver coil modules meet WPC standards and are used by ODM/OEM test laboratory accessories makers. The coil modules are used in wireless charging applications for portable electronic devices and specifications of these modules include DCR (Direct Current Resistance) figures of 75 and 25 mOhms (maximum), as well as an inductance of 24 and 6.3uH (typical) for the 19V and 5V coils.
In addition, the company also manufactures high density interconnects (HDI), backplane and technologically advanced printed circuit boards (PCB) up to 46-layer.
On the other hand, Luso provides distribution services including centralized purchasing, global sourcing of components, vendor reductor support, kitting and logistics. The company recently announced availability of a series of highly compact AC-DC switching power supplies that deliver up to 260W of power and eliminates the fans and fan controllers required to cool conventional power supplies, thereby reducing costs and freeing up valuable component space. Removing fans and related components and circuitry is also a significant advantage in increasing MTBF and reducing noise in end products.
Manufactured by N2Power, the 260W power supply is essentially the convection cooling option' from the company's XL375 series of highly compact AC-DC switching power supplies, which is suitable for a myriad of applications including industrial automation, telecommunications, gaming systems, security and surveillance systems and network servers.
