Coca-Cola Happiness Machine to Appear at the World of Coca-Cola This Summer

As part of its summer promotion, the beverage giant Coca- Cola has again come up with its celebrated Coca-Cola Happiness Machine, a unique vending machine that dispenses goodies to unsuspected and randomly selected visitors.

In the past, the Coca-Cola Happiness Machine has been showcased around the world and on U.S. college campuses. But, for the first time in its history, the Coca-Cola Happiness Machine is being installed outside a campus at the World of Coca-Cola at Pemberton Place, one of Atlanta’s biggest tourist attractions.

In fact, this unique vending machine will stay in a single location for an extended period of time. Starting this week, the vending machine will be there, delivering happy moments to guests till September 3rd.

A Coca-Cola Happiness Machine does not look different than any ordinary Coca-Cola vending machine, however it gives out lucky guests nearly 4,000 summertime prizes such as sporting goods, coolers and digital cameras, along with their expected ice-cold Coca-Cola.

“Unlike in the past, people now can plan to visit a Coca-Cola Happiness Machine. With this machine, the question is no longer where will happiness strike again, but when -- and who knows, you might be next,” General Manager of Retail and Attractions for The Coca-Cola Company, Russell Jacobs noted in a statement.

A Happiness Machine made a brief surprise appearance at the World of Coca-Cola in May to celebrate the World of Coca-Cola’s fifth anniversary at Pemberton Place. This time, the Happiness Machine is going to remain in a single location for an extended period of time and is also the first Happiness Machine in the U.S. to appear outside a college campus.

“This experience is about sharing little moments of unexpected happiness. And there's no better place to do that this summer than at the home of happiness -- the World of Coca-Cola,” Director of Marketing for The World of Coca-Cola, Karen Brunke added.
