AMAX Unveils Solutions for Appliance-based Software Deployments

AMAX (News - Alert), an innovator of High Performance Computing (HPC), dynamic enterprise IT, and custom appliance manufacturing solutions, recently has unveiled next-generation OEM platform solutions for appliance-based software deployments.

The latest, most advanced CPU-based x86 OEM appliance solutions are built upon the newly introduced Intel (News - Alert) Xeon Processor E5-2600 product family (formerly named "Sandy Bridge"). This extremely powerful platform takes full advantage of Intel's latest advancements in processor and chipset technology, and ushers in a new era of intelligent performance that dramatically increases performance and drives unparalleled power efficiency for x86 appliance-based solutions.

Additionally, the new appliance deployment offerings will give a revenue boost to ISVs, networking, security, storage, cloud computing, and database application developers by packaging complete turnkey solutions using custom-designed, highly-optimized OEM solutions that are fully validated with each company's specific applications.

By leveraging this appliance deployment enhancement, companies will  be able to reduce deployment complexity, system downtime and customer support issues by providing validated, software-certified platforms, as well as increase potential revenue with total-solution value-add while pushing the performance-per-watt envelope allowing application performance to truly shine.
