Array Networks Announces Availability of First Gold-Certified IPv6 Application Delivery Controllers

Array Networks (News - Alert) has confirmed the availability of its IPv6 gold-certified APV Series application delivery controllers, which won certification from IPv6 Ready Logo Committee.

According to the company, its Array’s APV Series application delivery controller solutions provide an agile point of control for the data center and cloud, allowing enterprises and service providers to scale applications without sacrificing availability, performance or security.

The Array APV Series addresses challenges facing enterprises and service providers in the areas of application and cloud service delivery.

The company is currently offering this latest solution as purpose-built appliances, or software engineered for virtual environments and these application delivery controllers combine cutting-edge performance and scalability with transformative features at industry-leading price points, delivering unmatched value and ROI, compared to alternative solutions.

The solution is backed by Array’s award winning SpeedCore platform, and uses the latest in 64-bit multi-core processing technology to support the performance and scalability to accommodate the larger address space of IPv6 and ensure compatibility with IPv4 systems.

“For application delivery vendors, it is not enough to simply support IPv6. It was important for Array to create a solution that would help our customers at every phase of their transition from IPv4 to IPv6,” said Michael Zhao, CEO at Array Networks. “I’m very excited to announce the world’s first gold-certified IPv6 application delivery controllers, and even more excited to offer our enterprise and service provider customers a solution that extracts the most out of IPv4 infrastructure, enables IPv4 and IPv6 coexistence and offers the scalability to support next-generation IPv6 networks.”

APV Series application delivery controllers even address IPv4 preservation, IPv4/IPv6 translation, IPv6 migration and native IPv6 deployments, and the IPv6 feature parity is supported for all Array APV Series application delivery controller products.
