FIC Unveils Elija-S TFE03 Tablet Based on INTEGRITY Multivisor from Green Hills

The flagship of Green Hills Software operating systems—the INTEGRITY RTOS—is based on a partitioning architecture to offer embedded systems with total dependability, security, and maximum real-time performance. INTEGRITY sets the standard for real-time operating system safety, security, and reliability with its leadership pedigree underscored by certifications in a range of industries.

Recently, First International Computer has released its tablet named Elija-S TFE03, which runs on the INTEGRITY Multivisor from Green Hills Software. This 9.7-inch tablet is powered by Freescale (News - Alert) i.MX53 processor which is equipped with state of the art optimization to support virtualization performance.

FIC now offers its tablet with various operating systems and also makes sure that the customers get the greatest satisfaction with manageability, security, usability, and smooth operation. Also, they do not need to give up system performance to achieve this. For critical applications, such as security functionality and fast-boot real-time requirements, INTEGRITY Multivisor also offers a native, open standards-based environment and allows virtual machines and critical applications to safely co-exist, the company stated in a press release.

“The business focus of FIC's (News - Alert) tablet product is targeted toward vertical and enterprise segments. We continue to enhance the Elija platform with state-of-the-art solutions to meet critical customer requirements. The INTEGRITY Multivisor is the ideal virtualization technology for building a trusted and secure multi-persona solution on FIC's Elija-S TFE03 tablet to address the protection of critical enterprise data and applications," said Alex Dee, vice president, FIC.

In 2011, the company introduced its next generation Windows 7 tablet, Tycoon+ TKE00. To bring an improved platform and longer battery life for optimized performance, the new tablet is equipped with the latest IntelR Atom Z670 processor, codenamed Oak Trail. The FIC's Tycoon+ TKE00 is designed specifically for business users on-the-go and is equipped with a 10-inch wide multi-touch display, 32GB SSD, 2GB DDR2 system memory and a 2 mega-pixel webcam.
