NEC Acquires CSG Limited's Technology Solutions Business

The Technology Solutions (News - Alert) Business of CSG Limited, an Australian ICT company, will now be taken over by NEC Corporation. As part of the agreement between the two organizations, NEC (News - Alert) Corporation has acquired the entire Technology Solutions business, which offers end-to-end IT solutions and services like managed services, enterprise offerings and strategic advice.

NEC Corporation’s vision to expand across the globe for developing its ICT services capabilities has been strengthened with this acquisition. NEC Australia, a division of NEC Corporation, which is intent on becoming a major Australian ICT services company, will benefit from this acquisition. NEC Australia’s capabilities will be further expanded in high growth services like ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, managed services and cloud based business offerings. NEC Australia Pty Ltd is all set to become one of the major ICT companies in Australia in terms of both income and employees.

The Technology Solutions business, including its subsidiaries, CSG Services Pty Limited and CSG Solutions Pty Limited, will now function as an autonomous business element of NEC Australia. The acquisition will be mostly confirmed in 30-60 days after receiving the approval from Foreign Investment Review Board and fulfillment of various regular sales terms.
