PROMISE Technology Showcases Latest RAID Storage Line at Computex 2012 Taipei

PROMISE Technology, a provider of RAID storage solutions, is showcasing a complete array of vertical industry solutions at Computex 2012 Taipei, Saturday June 9, 2012. These products are designed to offer highly available, high performance and cost-effective storage solutions for cloud, surveillance, rich media and big data markets.

Some of the solutions on display include the revolutionary VTrak J930, PROMISE VessRAID 2000 Series and the Windows-ready Pegasus R4 and R6. Additionally, the company also showcased enterprise-class VTrak series and their SMB-focused VessRAID family of storage solutions.

PROMISE VTrak J930 is an ultra-dense 6Gbps SAS (News - Alert) 4U/60-bay expansion chassis designed for data intensive applications. The VTrak J930s can be connected as an expansion chassis for VTrak x30 Series RAID subsystems or to SAS enabled servers. It also allows storage applications to access data using multi-lane 6G SAS architectures. The VTrak J930 offers connectivity to 6G and 3G hard drives and SSDs.

PROMISE VessRAID 2000 Series is the latest storage array featuring a dual active-active high availability design with multi-protocol support, FC and iSCSI. These 8Gbps FC and 10Gbps IP SAN solutions are designed to improve the performance and offer proven reliability and total component redundancy for mission critical applications.

Touted as the world's first Thunderbolt hardware RAID storage solution, the Windows-ready Pegasus R4 and R6 from PROMISE delivers lightning fast performance, in 4-bay & 6-bay direct attached storage configurations, all leveraging Intel's (News - Alert) revolutionary Thunderbolt Technology with full support for the Windows platform.
