Virtual Bridges Collaborates with GBM for Promoting VERDE

Virtual Bridges, Inc recently announced that it will be working together with Gulf Business Machines (GBM) for promoting its VERDE virtual desktop management and provisioning capabilities to enterprises across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). GBM will now be handling the re-promotion, distribution, and support of Virtual Bridges offerings as part of this enduring planned association between the two companies. Enterprises will be able to decrease expenses and intricacies associated with the management of desktops with VERDE. Features include online, offline, and branch VDI, thereby ensuring minimal security apprehensions and business perils.

In a release, Cesare Cardone, CEO of GBM, said, “As the leading VDI Gen2 solution, VERDE will help our customers reduce desktop TCO while increasing organizational agility, productivity and responsiveness. We are excited to partner with Virtual Bridges to bring this value to organizations in the GCC region.”

Desktop management is now made simpler with VERDE, which enhances security and augments business flexibility, especially for enterprises who do not wish to be tied down by physical computing. Users of VERDE can access Windows and Linux desktops from any location or device such as tablets, netbooks, laptops and thin clients, thus providing IT professionals with the opportunity to manage desktops through one location. IT professionals are also able to decrease the expenses and difficulties related with stipulating, modifying and acquiring extremely distributed PC environments.

President and CEO of Virtual Bridges Jim Curtin stated, “Demand for VDI Gen2 continues to grow as organizations seek ways to drive greater efficiencies and transform their desktop environment to take advantage of cloud computing and mobile computing opportunities. GBM has an incredible foothold in the market and we’re thrilled to work with them to expand our reach and drive measurable ROI for their customers.”

Consumers are now able to effortlessly scale their environment in order to fulfill the varying business demands with the help of Virtual Bridge, offering them a simplified Windows 7 migration with VDI Gen2 and allowing GBM consumers to produce, test and implement a virtual desktop with Windows 7 very quickly.
