A Nordic Breeze Blows Through NTT Europe: Company Opens Office in Sweden

NTT (News - Alert) Europe, which provides a world-class Tier-1 Internet backbone and related ICT offerings, now has a new address in the Nordic region in Stockholm.

The Nordic launch is expected to help customers in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark gain a greater competitive advantage in their global operations.

NTT's partnership with Secode, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT Com and provider of managed security services within Nordic markets, will not only cement the company's position in the region, but extend the global reach of Secode's services.

Bob Welton, regional director for Northern Europe, observed that the collaboration would provide a new level of assurance for network and IT service by helping the firm address the security challenges that customers face.

In addition, to give an impetus to its services in the Nordic region, NTT Com is also talking to organizations local to the Nordic countries, but still expanding its global operations.

Already established in the EMEA market with a presence in APAC and North America regions, NTT Europe is now targeting a region that is well known for its stability and prosperity. By doing so, it will provide the thriving manufacturing and service industries with a gateway to worldwide communication.

"NTT Com's global network and cloud solutions are designed for business enablement with security at the very core, and will give the Nordic enterprise market even greater choice,” said Bob Welton, regional director for Northern Europe.

Other news reports NTT Communications (News - Alert) and Vigilent, provider of intelligent energy management systems, jointly won the prestigious 2012 Green Enterprise IT Award, presented by Uptime Institute. The award highlights facility infrastructure products that significantly improve data center energy and resource efficiency.
