Apacer Debuts Ivy Bridge Compatible Low-power High-speed DDR3-1600 1.35V SoDIMM

Catering to the requirements for embedded and fanless system designs, Apacer Technology has unveiled the Ivy Bridge compatible low-power high-speed Apacer 1.35V DDR3-1600 SoDIMM memory module. The Apacer high-speed DDR3-1600 module only needs a working voltage of a mere 1.35V, compared to the traditional 8-GB DDR3-1333 memory modules. This is a reduction of more than 11 percent in power consumption and it also enhances the performance by 20 percent.

The memory module is equipped with a high capacity of up to eight GB and is dedicated to embedded systems. It also has an operating speed of up to 1600 MT/s. The Ivy Bridge-compatible module’s memory chip also sports Apacer’s advanced process. Catering to the increasing demands in industrial computing fields such as digital bulletin boards, POS and Thin Clients, this ensures best stability under high-speed computing, the company stated in a press release.

This new product can cater to the high demands for storage solutions from such industrial computer fields as digital bulletin board, POS and Thin Client.
