It was a big night for Anue Systems, whose 5273 Net Tool Optimizer took home the title of Best IT Product for Telecommunications at the Network Product Guide 2012 Hot Companies and Best Awards ceremony. The ceremony took place in Las Vegas on May 8th, and Anue was just one of the big winners at the show.
Anue's 5273 Net Tool Optimizer is an NEBS Level-3 certified device, which in turn allows network engineers for mobile carriers the ability to connect multiple network monitoring tools at once to both 1 GbE and 10GbE interfaces, allowing for end-to-end visibility from the entire packet network. The result is better analysis of the network's performance, which can in turn yield better solutions about how to make repairs and modifications as needed, as well as validating field applications and giving better overall customer service.
Anue Systems' CEO, Alex Pepe, received the award, and expressed how honored both he and the rest of the company through him was to receive same, describing the company as "committed to providing service providers greater visibility into their network so they can stay ahead of the increased bandwidth demands driven by the rapid consumer adoption of mobile devices.”
Pepe's remarks are almost something of an understatement; though he's quite right about "increased bandwidth demands" driven by "rapid consumer adoption," it seems insufficient to call it that, like describing hurricane conditions as "a little windy.” The adoption is indeed rapid, and with advancements like streaming video steadily on the rise, customers' appetite for bandwidth won't be coming back down any time soon.
Still, it's apparent that Anue Systems is ready to do their part to keep the bandwidth coming to the consumer, and that's exactly what the market space needs. There won't be less demand for it at any point in the near future -- if ever, short of a global catastrophe -- but helping to keep the bandwidth coming by way of making network analysis and upkeep a simpler task than previously possible will be things like Anue Systems' 5273 Net Tool Optimizer.
