KPMG's Outsourcing Study Ranks Cognizant as Top Service Provider in Nordics

In KPMG's Outsourcing 2012 study of service provider performance in the Nordic region, Cognizant (News - Alert) - a provider of information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services has achieved top place on the customer satisfaction and recommendation rankings in the four-county region (Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden).

Cognizant has got 80 percent score both on general satisfaction and client recommendation, which is significantly above the average industry satisfaction rate of 68 percent and average client recommendation rate of 67 percent. Notably, all Cognizant clients among those surveyed were satisfied with its services. Company also secured high scores on all major performance indicators, including customer satisfaction, recommendation, relationship management, innovation, service quality, price, flexibility, transition, and governance.

According to the press release, the study was performed on 28 global, regional and local service providers. KPMG has assessed client-service provider relationships of 900 plus companies. As part of this assessment, KPMG interviewed CFOs, CIOs or their direct reports at over 340 of the top IT spending organizations in the Nordic region.
