Zenith Infotech Makes the Cloud Affordable for SMEs

On the heels of announcing its Technology Affiliates Network, Zenith Infotech (News - Alert) is rolling out a private cloud product based on the Intel (News - Alert) platform, which is targeted at small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Affordability has long been a concern for small businesses in terms of migrating to cloud-based services, however, TigerCloud, the company’s latest cloud product, is as much as 70 percent cheaper than other similar services, Akash Saraf (News - Alert) , CEO of Zenith Infotech, told Business Today.

TigerCloud allows companies to run all their IT solutions virtually. “The servers, which will be under customer control, will take just under three hours to set up and that too without any engineers,” Saraf stated.

The private cloud product combines server, storage and network virtualization technology and is based on Intel Xeon E3 processor family, according to the report.

“The benefits of TigerCloud are many. For one, it will be under customer control and on his premises. Then this solution is extremely elastic and can be deployed by firm with over 20 employees. Plus, the prices start … at least 70 percent cheaper than other cloud solutions,” Saraf told Business Today.

Intel’s Xeon E3 processors deliver “intelligent and adaptive performance and reliability,” which will be beneficial to SMEs, according to Debjani Ghosh, managing director, sales and marketing group, Intel, South Asia.

“Its built-in 24/7 dependability and advanced security features help users stay focused on their business – responding quickly to customers, opportunities, and trends,” Ghosh said, according to Business Today.

Earlier this month, the Warrendale, Penn.-based company introduced its Technology Affiliates Network, its marketplace for publishers focused on promoting the company’s products and solutions.

The Technology Affiliates Network is a performance marketing platform that provides businesses with the tools needed to drive advertising revenue, operational efficiency, online distribution and brand visibility of Zenith Infotech’s Backup & Disaster and Vu TelePresence solutions.

Zenith Infotech’s Technology Affiliates Network allows IT vendors, technology service providers, bloggers on technical topics, and hardware resellers to accelerate their business, open new markets, and expand revenue – generating capabilities within their established relationships, company officials said.
