New nivio for Google Drive App Enables Anywhere, Anytime Opening, Editing of MS Office Files

A source of the latest Microsoft (News - Alert) Office (MS) files, nivio recently announced the introduction of a new nivio for Google Drive app. The new app has been designed to integrate with Google (News - Alert) Drive, Google's cloud storage and collaboration service, and allows users to both open and edit Microsoft Office files in their Google Drive by ensuring full access to Microsoft Office 2010 applications over any connected device or HTML5 browser.

Users of the nivio for Google Drive app will now be able to open and edit MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Project and Visio files with a simple right-click, and then selecting nivio from the menu. Not only does the file open up within a browser, but users can edit files then saved in the user's Google Drive.
